Purpose: I chose this activity because I think it's a really great activity for those who enjoy art. Art is a form of self expression and by creating your own poster and/or art peice it can tell a lot. I personally enjoy creating posters because I think it really shows the passion I have. The purpose of this activity is to create a powerful poster specifically to fight against the stigma and discrimination against Mental Health. You can choose to do whatever you want. I decided to create a powerful message and stick it with my picture. That is an option however you don't need to create a powerful message if you don't want to pictures are just as powerful.

Age: This activity can work best for ages 10+.

Time Frame: This activity can be completed in 30 minutes.

Environment: â€‹This activity is best done in an open space. It can be done in any type of environment as long as it's inside and you have lots of space to get creative.

Preparation: This poster that I created was on the computer using a computer software. However you do not have to do your poster online. You can draw your poster, paint it, or use whatever materials you feel necessary to use. There are no specific instructions for this activity all you have to do is gather the materials you need and get creative!

MAKE YOUR OWN POSTER

Participants: This activity can be done individually, with a partner or friend, or in groups. If you are wanting to do this activity with a larger group of kids I would strongly reccommend to gather them in groups as little as 2-4 participants each and have them create a poster with there group. By doing this the kids will be learning social skills, communication, and team work skills.
