Anorexia and Bulimia Nervosa are both serious forms of eating disorders that generally begin in adolescence and/or early adulthood. They can also begin in childhood too. Anorexia is a form of self-starvation where as bulimia is a form of the binge-purge syndrome (Canadian Alliance on Mental Illness and Mental Health, 2012).
